Hey everyone. My name is Adrian and I'm new to the metal scene in Vancouver. There aren't many people I know around here that are into metal and no one I know who plays music who likes to play metal. I'm looking forward to chatting and learning about music but moreso looking to jam with some people and join/form a band.
I play guitar and bass (but not for some time now) and I'm trying to learn screams and growls as well. I'd like to be versed in as many aspects of metal as I can, including history and such, but I lean towards wanting to just jam out on my guitar. I mostly listened to power and speed for the longest time but I'm starting to get into melodic death metal and regret stronly that I was not able to attend Amon Amarth recently here in Van. I've recorded a few things but as of late I've been changing my style a lot and don't really know where I'm going to end up. Hoping to show you guys some shit, get some feedback and find some people to fucking play with. Metal is all.
I spent that day just getting some things done for her and would've felt pretty awful about going without her and was feeling a little timid about going by myself as I don't really know any metalheads out here who go to shows often. Hoping this changes though!
