Drums, bass and vocals are finished - starting guitars next week. It's unusual, to do vocals before guitar, but that's just how our schedules have unfolded...

We want to be playing live before the end of the year - just haven't decided when/where/with who yet. Happy to take suggestions... What kind of a bill would ppl in Van wanna see us on?

Cool, glad to know there's progress! I have both of your albums. I like them quite a bit, Eleutheria especially. I actually discovered you through Crus Del Sur when I was looking up their other groups, really pleasently surprised to find a band like yours from western Canada. I was partially asking because I have a power/prog band in Edmonton, and our debut EP comes out on Oct. 15th and We'd like to try our hand at leaving the province doing a bunch of shows in BC over a long weekend or something, once we've gotten a bit more press around. "Mini-tour" it up. I'd really like to play with you guys, especially if you dudes are releasing new material soon. Same thing if you guys wanted to venture out to Alberta ever.

Check out the tunes on our myspace, maybe shoot me a private message sometime if you think we'd fit on a billing with you guys or anything!

So is this still gonna sound like a Burt Bacharach record, or you gonna fix that in the mix?

Hope you got enough cowbell!

A good news/bad news kinda day...

The good news - just finished mixing the record with Brad Graham at Turtle Recording...

The bad news - we'll be releasing this independently. We've been let out of our deal with Cruz Del Sur.

We will soldier on - and hopefully deliver songs that people will dig... We gotta ask folks to hold on a while longer, while we work out all of the details.. But we're stoked!

You heard it here first, folks... The new ANTIQUUS album is in the can, so to speak.. It goes off to the manufacturer today.

The album is called "In the Land of the Blind" - it features 8 new original songs. We've added keyboards, and have changed up the songwriting a little bit. The songs all have a common theme, but the album is not conceptual, as was the cases of our first two records, "Ramayana" and "Eleutheria".

It'll be available in CD and downloadable formats, details on price and availability coming soon.

We'll have another announcement about an interesting side project in the coming weeks.

"Still Life" is one of my favourite Maiden songs ! I'll try to check it out.

Versailles Records has finally released "Two Minutes to Midnight: A Millenium Tribute to Iron Maiden". Antiquus recorded a cover of "Still Life" for this record. You can purchase just our track (for $0.99) or the whole album of 33 tracks (for $19.99) on iTunes. But beware, Ronny Munroe (of Metal Church) also recorded a version of Still Life for this project, and the samples are mislabelled. (Ronny's sample is marked 'Antiquus', and Antiquus's sample is mark 'Ronny Monroe') So make sure you listen to it, before you buy it - we trust you'll be able to tell the differnce between Jesse White and Ronny Munroe ;) We expect to receive physical copies in the coming weeks, so stay tuned!

Here's a link to the album on iTunes https://itunes.apple.com/ca/album/two-m ... d589490464
